Ristabola.com, Jakarta Indonesian badminton players are back in the hunt for the title in the 2023 All England championship. The world's oldest badminton tournament is scheduled to take place at Utilita Arena Brimingham, England, from Tuesday (14/3/2023) to Sunday (19/3/2023) ).
There were a total of 17 representatives from men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles who were initially sent by Indonesia to compete in the prestigious super 1000 level badminton arena.
However, the decision of the former world's first-ranked men's doubles doubles, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, to withdraw means that Indonesia only has 16 representatives left at the 2023 All England.
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting guarded the Red and White struggle from the men's singles sector, together with three of his colleagues Jonatan Christie, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.
The 2022 All England Champion Muhammad Shohibul Fikri / Bagas Maulana will also try to defend the title in this type of men's doubles.
They were accompanied by fellow young couple Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin and Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan.
There are also senior men's doubles duos ranked one and three in the world, namely Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, who are ready to show their skills to fight for the title.
Furthermore, in the women's singles and women's doubles sectors, Indonesia only has one representation each. They are Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
As for the mixed doubles, there are a total of five Red and White players who will heat up the competition, with two of them being non-national training pairs.
The five duets are Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, and Zachariah Josiahno Sumanti/Hediana Julimarbela.
